The A3 helmet offers the greatest protection of any TLD open face helmet with a very deep cut at the rear covering the lower portion of the skull. The use of dual density foam covers riders against a wide range of impact speeds for maximum protection in all environments. Mips technology is integrated in this helmet, as it should be for all high end MTB helmets. However, TLD have taken this a step further by integrating their fit adjustment mechanism with the Mips liner.
More than just a safe helmet the TLD A3 is also super comfortable and practical to use. The helmet feels snug and secure on without any pressure points, the adjustable ratchet at the rear providing even pressure across the skull. We all know how hot it is mountain bike riding under the Australian sun and TLF are looking after us with a sweat gutter built into the front of the helmet.
