Cristian used our FTR house build program to spec the bike with parts from Sram, Rockshox, Goodyear, We Are One and more, all at a compelling price.
For most riders the descent is the highlight of the ride and this bike is built to maximize that, while still holding its own on the climbs. We have a Rockshox Lyrik fork up front for smooth and consistent performance to guide the bike on it's way. Sram Code RSC brakes, the best braking performance from Sram, were installed to make pulling things up easy and controllable. When it comes time to turn things around and go up hill the Sram GX Eagle 12 speed, 52 tooth drivetrain is bound to make light work of the steepest climbs.
When you're spending a long time on the bike comfort is vital to make sure you get the most from your riding. The We Are One Composites 'Da Package' is designed for precise steering with the right amount of flex to take out those harsh trail vibrations. Sensus's Meaty Paw grips are made with a super soft rubber compound that has quickly earnt it self the title of our most popular big grip. The finishing touch being the carbon We Are One Union rim / Hydra hub wheelset with their undeniably smooth ride quality and strength.
This was a really exciting custom mountain bike to build in the For The Riders MTB workshop and we're wrapped with the result. Already out and riding the bike on the local Brisbane MTB trials we're sure Cristian is enjoying every second on his new Forbidden Druid.
