Charlie’s Santa Cruz Chameleon

Posted by For the Riders Admin on

Charlie is from the UK and came to us with the idea of building up a killer hardtail with the best components that the motherland has to offer. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

Given the UK theme ‘Hope’ and ‘Renthal’ components were an obvious choice. Orange Hope hubs laced to sturdy DT Swiss XM521 rims provide a great platform for this ride. No detail missed with custom rim decals ordered to complete the look. Maxxis 27.5+ rubber installed to keep this hardtail holding traction in the worst of it.

When only one end has suspension you need to make it count. Fox 36’s ticks all the boxes, including the orange one.

The big hitting Hope V4 brakes with floating rotors were installed to round out the build and complete one very tidy bike.

The pastel ‘Slate Blue’ of the frame paired with orange highlights create a striking contrast. You can’t help turn your head as you see this rig. It’s been great working with you Charlie and turning your UK dream bike into a reality.
