These specialized bearings offer 35-40% more load capacity than regular radial bearings due to a unique design that maximizes the number of balls inserted into the bearing through custom ground slots in the races. This, combined with deep race grooves, provides increased lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces experienced by mountain bike pivots. Our MAX-type ABEC-3 bearing has a Black-Oxide finish and features deep-groove races, Grade 10 balls, and double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for optimal protection against the elements. The bearing is filled with 90% Almagard extra high pressure grease and has a Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating for exceptional corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance.
