Cam from Dirt Skills MTB Coaching has ridden many Santa Cruz's in his time and his latest is a blacked out beauty of a Megatower. With 160mm front and rear travel on 29" wheels these bikes are built to go fast and Cam has all the skills to do just that.
The suspension on this bike is dialled with an Ohlins RXF36 coil fork up front and Cane Creek Double Barrel coil rear shock supplied by NSDynamics. Coil suspension gives an unmatched level of predictability and consistency through out its stroke, perfect for the big hitting Megatower.
Brakes and drivetrain are sorted out with the new Shimano XT offering. Their twelve speed shifting is clean and predictable whilst the four piston XT brakes provide plenty of power with a precise lever feel. Levers bolted onto a clean Chromag cockpit featuring a Chromag BZA stem and Chromag Fubar OSX 35 handlebars with Sensus Swayze grips. The Chromag Dagga pedal designed by Chris Kovarik provide all the grip a flat pedal rider could dream of.
The DT Swiss 350 hub / EX 511 wheelset provides consistent performance matched with a Maxxis Assegai up front and Minion DHR II on the back. Guaranteed traction on our loose Brisbane mountain bike trails.
We can't wait to see what Cam can do on this bike with all his talent! Enjoy the bike.
