With modern, slack geometry that defies the norm for short travel bikes the Tallboy is ready to attack the descent. When its time to go up hill riders have a great pedal platform on the 115mm VVP suspension linkage allowing for efficient and strong power transfer when pedalling. The Rockshox Pike Ultimate is a great match for the Tallboy with confident performance up and down the mountain at a very reasonable weight.
For light, smooth and crisp shifting this bike is spec'd with the Sram XX1 Eagle drivetrain with the unmistakable gold cassette a clear giveaway. The brake of choice for Michael is the new Shimano XTR. Consistent, powerful, and light, everything you want in a brake.
We built some incredible custom wheels for this bike, Zipp 3Zero motto carbon rims on Industry Nine Hydra hubs. A fast, light wheelset for a fast, light bike. Paired nicely to Maxxis rubber front and rear this bike will roll well and grip up when needed.
