Mitch was a great addition to the FTR race team this year and has already got a tonne of solid results including 1st place at SEQ Enduro Kooralbyn and some very respectable finishes in North American EWS events. Now back on local soil Mitch was after his next race bike to continue to drive his racing forward. The new Forbidden Druid had caught his eye, after one ride on a shop bike he was convinced.
Mitch has gone for a high performance build that will remain perform strongly and consistently in the hardest races around. Fox Performance Elite suspension is spec'd front and rear for a highly tune-able and smooth feel. The 'Performance Elite' series gives riders all the adjustments and internals of 'Factory' series suspension just minus the Kashima coat. A great way to keep costs down or get that stealth black look.
New Shimano XT is spec'd for both shifting and braking. The consistent and reliable performance of Shimano XT has always been well received by racers. DT Swiss 350 hubs on DT Swiss EX511 rims make the wheel of choice, the most popular aluminium wheelset at For The Riders with a great strength to weight ratio. Naturally Maxxis tyres were installed front and rear for the best grip on the market.
The cockpit features the new We Are One Composites 'Da Package' bar and stem combo. This amazingly clean looking setup is not only exceptionally light but looks great with a minimalist theme that lets the quality of the product do the talking. Sensus Lite grips locked on for that premium blend of comfort and control.
This bike has turned out amazingly with no detail over looked, right down to the titanium bottle cage. We can't wait to see Mitch tear it up on his sweet Forbidden Druid at the Queensland Enduro races, best of luck!
