After seeing the good news that we'd be one of the first dealers in Australia for Forbidden Bike Co. Jacob was quick to place an order with us for one of these sweet Forbidden Druid frames. With the frames now here under Jacob's direction we've put together a mint build to match.
This is the second Forbidden For The Riders has built to receive the Ohlins treatment with the RXF36 up front. Ohlins suspension provides a smooth and supple feel without over using its travel, true performance. The Enve M630 wheelset with Industry Nine Hydra hubs provide a light, strong and high engagement wheelset with great rolling speed. Matched with Maxxis tyres front and rear for the best grip around on the loose South East Queensland mountain bike trails.
The cockpit features an Enve carbon bar and stem to keep things light and responsive. Sram Code RSC brakes and XX1 Eagle drivetrain levers are fitted for precise braking and shifting at one clamp point utilising the matchmaker design. In this instance we were able to pull the Sram XX1 Eagle drivetrain from Jacob's old bike as its still running well and shifting crisply.
This bike has turned out great, it just looks like it wants to be ridden, ridden hard. We can't wait for Jacob to start riding and enjoying it!
