Tim's Giant Reign Advanced 29"

Posted by Chris Dalziel on

For The Riders team rider, Tim Abbott has been racing on Giant bikes for a number of years now. When the new Giant Reign 29" was announced it was a natural choice for Tim to jump on one of these incredible new race bikes.

The new 2020 Reign Advanced 29" offers a full cabron frame with 146mm rear travel paired to a 160mm fork, ready for that all out Enduro assault whilst still having the versatility to enjoy trail riding through Gap Creek, Daisy Hill, etc. The Advanced 1 model is spec'd Fox 36 Performance Elite Grip 2 forks, Fox Performance Float X2 shock, GX Drivetrain and Code brakes. An elusive list of parts when paired with the full carbon frame for RRP $6999.95. Check out the stock Giant Reign Advanced 29" 1 bike here or if you'd like to ride the new 29" Giant Reign yourself check out our demo program

Tim has upgraded his wheels to DT Swiss EX511 rims on the DT Swiss 350 hub. This is our most popular aluminium enduro wheel build. The EX511 rim is a proven, strong rim with a great 30mm internal profile. Matched to the super reliable 350 hub and this wheelset is ready to take on the abuse of your enduro needs.

Out of the box these bikes are a well rounded Enduro ready rig. Throw in a few upgrades and they're just going to get faster and faster!
