James did some thorough research before investing in his new pride and joy. After borrowing a friend's Yeti and experiencing that smooth, playful switch infinity feeling on his local Brisbane MTB trails the trigger was pulled on a Yeti SB130 and the build process began.
The unmistakable and somewhat irresistible Fox Factory series suspension sits proudly on the Yeti SB130, matching perfectly with Yeti's Kashima Switch Infinity linkage. The Fox 36 upfront with Fit 4 damper is the perfect match to the Fox DPX2 rear shock, both tune-able yet easily adjustable on the trail.
The rainbow Sram Code RSC brakes pop nicely against the navy Yeti frame but, it's more than just looks. The Code RSC brakes are For The Riders most popular premium brake delivering a tonne of power with a comfortable, adjustable lever feel. Sram brakes are matched to a complete XO1 eagle drivetrain for slick shifting and easy climbing.
Finished off with MTB tyres from Maxxis a DT Swiss / Race Face wheelset and other quality parts this is one tidy bike. Thanks to James for giving us the chance to build up this stunning bike in the For The Riders Brisbane MTB workshop, it was a pleasure!
