Peter has given us the joy of building him up some pretty damn special custom mountain bikes over the years but, I think this is the best one yet. With an eye for detail Peter has selected all the parts exactly as he likes and even colour matched them to complete complete this stunning Santa Cruz Tallboy.
The rear 115mm of this tallboy is not only going to be efficient but also plush with a Factory DPX2 upgrade. Up front the Fox 36 leads the way without hesitation featuring that signature orange glow. This orange really sets the tone for the build and comes to life against the deep purple of the Tallboy frame.
Peter has used the Sram XX1 Eagle drivetrain in the past and with it's crisp, light shifting it was an easy choice for the Tallboy. Stopping duties are controlled by the powerful four piston XTR brakes. For riders that dig a super solid lever feel these brakes are hard to pass!
Bringing the build together is the We Are One Composites Faction wheelset on Industry Nine Hydra hubs. The Faction 29" rims have a great strength to weight ratio with a 27mm internal. A very specific and dialled in trail / all mountain rim! Laced onto the market leading Industry Nine Hydra hubs this is one incredible wheelset.
