The Yeti SB130 continues to impress Brisbane mountain bike riders as we're fortunate enough to build many of these ripper bikes. Although one of our most popular boutique MTB frames for builds as we put these together to suit each rider they all seem to end up a little different, personalised for the rider. This great Yeti SB130 build is no exception, tailored to Justin's requests by the For The riders MTB team.
The vibrant turquoise frame is matched with an equally vibrant orange 2021 Fox 36 Factory series fork. Refined for 2021 the Fox 36 has a new lowers design which features air bleed ports on the back of the lowers. The new Sram XO1 52t drivetrain sits proudly on the bike in it's subtle yet distinctive 'lunar' colourway. Keeping the Sram theme going is the Sram G2 RSC brakes, with a sold four piston calliper these have plenty of power yet are still light enough for trail bike applications.
Another standout of this build is the custom wheelset, turquoise Industry Nine Hydra hubs laced on Zipp 3Zero moto rims. The Hydra hub has an incredible 690 points of engagement for rapid power transfer while pedalling. Combined with the 3Zero moto rims which have a unique single wall construction for added compliance and you have one of the most desirable wheelsets on the market.
