The Ibis Ripmo V2 is a refinement of one of out most highly praised bikes, the original Ripmo. Receiving the modern longer, lower slacker treatment the V2 is ready to go faster than ever. This particular build for Mick features high end components from top to bottom. Mick keeps his gear regularly serviced and running smoothly which allowed us to use some of his old parts combined with some tidy upgrades.
Mick's Ibis Ripmo V2 features a Ohlins RXF 36 up front for that famous, Swedish smoothness. Sitting atop their Swedish throne is the We Are One Composites 'Da Package', a unique bar / stem combo which is exceptionally light and has an outstanding strength to weight ratio.
Working our way along the bars we get to the Sram AXS wireless levers, one controlling the Reverb seatpost and another the rear Sram XX1 AXS derailleur. The Sram AXS setup is smooth and easy to use while also looking great thanks to a distinct lack of cables. The only cables at the front of the bike belong to the Code RSC brakes with the subtle yet classy rainbow hardware.
Completed with Santa Cruz carbon reserve wheels and Good Year rubber, amongst other finer finishes and we have one mint looking bike. Enjoy the ride Mick!
