Ben has raced DH internationally and although not riding as much as he used to came to us for a trail bike that had all the capabilities to go damn fast down a hill without breaking the bank. The Giant Reign SX ticked all boxes, and then some.
Stock the Giant Reign SX comes with top of the line DVO suspension in the DVO Onyx SC up front and Jade coil on the back. This is a hell of a lot of suspension for the price point and provides much of the bikes descending capabilities.
As an experienced rider like Ben knows exactly what he wants we made a few small changes. Upgrading to a Sram X01 Eagle rear derailleur, Renthal Fatbar and the classic Thomson stem. A few small tweaks to give that bike the extra touch.
These bikes are great right out of the box, and with a few upgrades Ben has not only made it his own but taken it up another level. We’re excited to see how fast this bike can go!
