John came to us to build the ultimate bike, Yeti SB130, Sram XX1 AXS, Fox Factory suspension and carbon wheels etc. A true dream bike.
The brand new Sram AXS electronic shifting caused quite a stir when it was released, and for good reason. Cable-less shifting for that super clean look and enhanced shifting performance. Riders are already raving about Sram XX1 AXS as a game changer. The Yeti SB130 is the perfect match for such a drivetrain.
With a second none to build the rim of choice was the Crankbrother Synthesis carbons. Designed with compliance in the front wheel with a 28 spoke count and the rear stiffer and more durable in a 32 spoke configuration. Laced to DT Swiss 240 hubs this combination provides an exceptional balance of rider comfort and durability at the most minimal weight.
To complete the build Fox Factory series suspension front and rear, Maxxis rubber, Sensus grips… all the good stuff and then some.
Weighing in at 13.5kg with pedals this SB130 is so capable yet light. It was a pleasure working with you John to build such a special bike. It’s got all of us here at FTR drooling. Enjoy the ride!
