The Giant Trance 29” was one of our best selling bikes for 2019 and we’re really excited to see Giant continue this model with some great new colours and parts for 2020. The frames feature the same proven suspension and geometry numbers from the proven 2019 model. A very capable 115mm of rear travel with 130mm up front gives riders good control when descending yet provides a playful and agile bike on the up hills to make light work of the climb. With a slack head angle of 67 degrees commonly found on longer travel bikes the Giant Trance can hold its own against bikes with more suspension when tackling steeper rough terrain. 2020 Giant Trance 29" models are due in stock shortly, to check out the details of these exciting new models read below.

Who’s it for?
With the local Brisbane mountain bike trails offering a large variety of terrain the Giant Trance 29” provides a great match due to its supreme versatility. It pedals really well allowing for a nippy and active bike at places like Gap Creek, Daisy Hill, Ironbark etc. However, the 130mm fork and long, slack angles enable the bike to take on technical and rough terrain confidently, even for the local Queensland Enduro series at more challenging locations like Mt Joyce and Garapine. The great thing about Giant bikes is they offer their frames in both carbon and aluminium (exact same geometry) with a range of different parts so there is a Giant Trance 29” to suit all.

Model Highlight
The Giant Trance Advanced 29" 1 model has seen a suspension upgrade for 2020 whilst still representing incredible value for money. The Fox 34 forks up front and DPX2 rear shock are now Performance 'Elite' series. This gives riders the same internals as the Fox Factory Series models just with a black hard anodised coating instead of kashima. When the black anodising matches the black carbon of the frame so well and brings the bike in at a tidy $6499 we see this as a great upgrade!
