The Ripmo AF shares the same geometry and suspension design as its carbon fibre brother. 147mm of DW Link driven rear suspension matched to a 160mm fork makes this 29" ride ready for anything the local Brisbane mountain bike trails can throw at you, and some more, equally at home in the local Queensland Enduro Series. The 64.9 degree head angle ensures riders a comfortable blend of stability and agility when descending. This comfort is replicated on the climbs as well with a steep seat tube angle of 76-77 degrees. An all rounder trail bike that favours the descents, tempting you to go faster and push harder.
Pricing / Spec
The Ripmo AF is available as a frame only or in a range of complete spec options. Frames go for $2990 with DVO Topaz air shock or the new DVO Jade X Coil option at $3,150 will be available mid October. There are three completes available, NX Spec $4990, SLX spec $6,450 and GX spec $6,890.
All specs come with the DVO Topaz Air shock and DVO Diamond D1 forks. We think that its great that Ibis have chosen to offer top of the line suspension on these bikes, investing where it counts to get the most out of the bike.
At $4990 the NX spec Ripmo AF will be a real head turner. The NX 12 speed drive train has proven to be a consistent work horse. Matched with the DVO suspension this bike you're getting a bike that will relish the descent yet climb consistently day in day out.
