The Details

The ARC hardtail is designed for a 130mm fork allowing the bike to come alive on the descent with an exciting, vibrant ride while also being comfortable and fast on the climbs. The 67 degree head angle is right where you want it for a great trail hardtail, slack enough to give you confidence at speed while sharp and nimble enough to let you duck and weave fluently. Riders that like to put the power down when pedalling will be well rewarded with a steep, comfortable 76 degree seat tube angle allowing for great power transfer. 433mm long chain stays combined with a 1194.2mm wheelbase (large) and a 310mm BB height all hit the spot as well for this fun hardtail mountain bike.

Why A Hardtail?

With the progression of modern dual suspension bikes it's a logical question. A hardtail brings life to trails that you may consider dull and un-motivating on your dual suspension bike. Sure, it's going to be rougher but the drive you get when pedalling or pumping a hardtail is impossible to replicate on any modern dual suspension mountain bike. The light weight nature of these bikes also makes them a lot of fun to flick around corners and hop over obstacles. You may be surprised to find that you'll potentially be faster on some of your local trails than on a dual suspension bike due to the drive you can generate on a hardtail. On other trails you may be a little slower but either way, you'll be having a tonne of fun!

Who's It For?

So what riders should be considering throwing a leg over Yeti's new ARC? If you ride places like Daisy Hill, Cornubia, Gap Creek, etc. and want to make your ride that little bit more exciting than what a dual suspension bike will give you the ARC will be ideal.

Warranty

Just like Yeti's new dual suspension range the ARC comes with a lifetime limited warranty giving riders the confidence to invest in their dream hardtail knowing they'll be looked after.
