Staff Rides: Chris's Bronson

Posted by Chris Dalziel on

Only having the one bike, I was after a bike that I could happily ride all of the local trails on, do the occasional Enduro Race and have something confidence inspiring for NZ and Tassie. Once I'd tried out a demo, and having previously owned the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Bronson, the Gen 3 was a no brainer. The perfect fit for me.

For the build, I've always used Sram components and continue to do so with X01 Eagle, Sram Guide RSC Brakes and Lyrik RCT3 Fork. I asked the wizards at NS Dynamics to fit the new DebonAir upgrade  in the Lyrik to improve small bump performance also push them out to 170mm. In the cockpit, I'm running Chromag BZA Bars and Stem. Wheels are the ever reliable DT Swiss EX511's on DT350 hubs.

All in all I’m stoked with this bike, riding the local trails as fast as ever and the bike performed flawlessly in Rotorua, NZ.
